Ultrasensitive blood test predicts head and neck cancer relapse months earlier

A new study led by investigators at the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute finds that a highly sensitive blood test called HPV-DeepSeq can help identify which people with HPV-associated head and neck cancer still have cancer cells in their bodies after surgery and who might benefit most from additional treatment. The results are published in Science Translational Medicine.
