According to a report released this week by the Ontario Drug Policy Research Network (ODPRN), between 2018 and 2024, workers in manufacturing and trades will account for almost a third of opioid poisoning deaths in Ontario, where the occupation was known. In addition to highlighting the toll of opioid toxicity in the region, the report also draws attention to their impact among people of various professions.
