Marketing operating system Nectar Social raises $30M Series A led by Menlo

AI-powered marketing platform Nectar Social announced on Thursday It raised a $30 million Series A round led by Menlo Ventures its collection fund, Which was created with Anthropic.

The company, which officially spun out of Stealth last year, is an agentic operating system for marketers. It told TechCrunch that it uses autonomous AI agents to help brands drive “social activity, moderation, creator workflows, competitive intelligence, and commerce conversations from end to end.” It also has data partnerships with companies like Meta and Reddit that allow Nectar Agent to pull and pool data from different platforms in one place, rather than requiring brands to use different tools to manage different platforms.

Nectar Social was founded by sisters Misbah and Farah Urazi, former Meta employees. CEO Misbah told TechCrunch that the round will help the company expand into applied AI, engineering and markets, and hire more people.

“Shopping conversations have become social and no human team can staff everywhere,” Misbah said. “We are accelerating our category by building operating systems that make brands visible everywhere.”

The company said customers include Liquid Death, Figma and Elf Beauty. Other investors in the round include Gwyneth Paltrow’s Kinship Ventures, GV and True Ventures.
