With two more weeks of conference play, college baseball teams are eager to make one last effort and prove that they are worthy of a spot in the NCAA Tournament before the conference tournament begins.
This week, for the second time in a row, no new teams entered the top 25, but there was still a lot of action. Kansas entered the top 10 at No. 7 for the first time this season after another perfect 4-0 week, defeating Arizona and defeating Wichita State in a midweek game. Arkansas and Alabama were the other big players this week, jumping five spots each.
Oklahoma and Nebraska suffered major ranking declines, falling nine spots to No. 24 and 25, respectively. UCLA remained on top and the rest of the top five also remained stable.

This could be a preview of the Big Ten Tournament Championship as the league’s top teams face off in Los Angeles. UCLA has had strong performances in each conference series, and the Bruins have lost only four games all season and have already clinched the regular season title. However, Oregon may present their toughest challenge yet for the Bruins and set them up for the postseason.
