Alcohol consumption is likely to lead to higher incidences of cancer in Australia than previously thought, according to new research from the University of Sydney. The new study, published in the British Journal of Cancer, analyzed the alcohol consumption behavior of a study group of 225,000 people over the age of 45 in NSW – the largest ongoing study of health and aging in Australia.
