The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) on Wednesday rejected Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s comments alleging that the agency was “a little late” in identifying the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. “We do not replace the work of countries, we simply support them,” WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in Geneva.
