President Trump on Thursday expressed the idea of hosting a final Fighting Championship (UFC) program at the White House next year as part of the country’s 250th anniversary celebrations.
Trump told supporters at the “Salute to America” program in Iowa that there would be a young sports program called “Patriot Games” to mark a year -long celebration.
He also said that the National Park and Historical Sites, including the White House, will host special programs to mark the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the country.
Referring to the UFC President Dana White, Trump said, “We are going to fight a UFC, think about it, in the White House ground. We have a lot of land. We are going to build a little – we are not, we are not doing it, Dana is going to do it. Great of Dana.
Trump suggested that the event would be a full “championship fight” and can host 25,000 people. Such an event will require various permits approval to be in or near the White House.
Trump has become Something of a regular In the UFC quarrel. The President has a year -long friendship with white. Many fighters who compete in the UFC events have publicly supported Trump, including the Octagon.
