The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Friday that a Texas man has been indicted on federal charges related to the shooting near the Washington Monument on the National Mall that left a civilian dead. A federal grand jury indicted Michael Marks, 45, of Midland, Texas, on charges of “assaulting certain officers using a dangerous weapon.”
