Maersk shares jump after shipping giant beats estimates, hikes outlook

Danish shipping giant Maersk on Thursday posted stronger-than-expected second-quarter operating profit and raised its 2026 earnings guidance for the second time this year.

Shares of the company surged more than 8% shortly after the opening bell.
