Google is rolling a new feature called “favorite source” in the US and India, which allows users to choose their favorite choice of news sites and blogs shown in the section of top stories of Google’s search results. Enabling this feature means that you will see more materials from the sites of your choice, the company says.
When the users search for a particular theme, they will see a “star” icon next to the section of top stories. They can tap on that icon and start finding the source by searching them.
Once you choose sources, you can refresh the results to see more material from your selected sources. Google said that for some questions, users will also see a separate “section” section “from your sources below the section of the top stories.

This feature enables users to get information from sources that they prefer, but will also implicate them into an ideological bubble, which without highlighting them different approaches on a particular subject.
