Walking further and faster linked to reduced risk of cardiovascular events in people with high blood pressure

Analysis of over 36,000 people with high blood pressure has shown that even more steps below the recommended daily target of 10,000 stages, and walking rapidly, is associated with a significant decrease in the risk of major problems of heart and blood vessels.
