Former President Biden is going to speak in the annual Gala of the National Bar Association in Chicago on Thursday night.
His visit comes after public disclosure that he has revealed an aggressive form of prostate cancer. Biden stepped into the spotlight after the end of his tenure earlier this year and gave the BBC his first post-primary interview in May. He also sat with “The View” that month.
The National Bar Association is the oldest and largest network of African American lawyers, judges, law professors and law students in the United States.
The event has been slated to start for EDT at 8 pm
