President Trump on Friday defended his controversial comments earlier this week when the president said he was not taking into account Americans’ cost-of-living concerns during negotiations to end the conflict with Iran. “It’s a perfect statement. I’ll repeat it again,” Trump told Fox News’ Brett Baier before returning to the United States.
