TikTok joins Snap to settle social media addiction lawsuit

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and YouTube chief Neil Mohan are expected to testify, which could set a precedent for how dozens of other lawsuits might play out.

By settling the case, TikTok and Snap are not necessarily admitting the allegations. Rather, they reached a settlement with the plaintiffs outside of court, although the terms of these settlements are not known.
