Passengers at major European airports, including Heathrows, Brussels and Berlin, faced significant delays at the end of this week, which was described as a “cyber-related incident” by Collins Aerospace.

A post on Heathro social media account Said, “The work continues to solve and on Friday, the Colins Aerospace continues to recover from the airline system outage, which affects the check-in. We apologize to those who have faced the delay, but working together with the airlines, most of the flights continue to operate.”
Like other affected airports, Heathro recommended that passengers arrive at least three hours before departure for long-term flights, and for short-hall flights at least two hours before.
