Kairing on Monday confirmed a data violation of the customers of its luxury brand Gucci, Balesiaga, Alexander Mcquin, Yaves St. Lauren and others.
Hackers stole sensitive customer data such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses and the total amount spent in shops around the world. BBC first reported violation,
Kairing said that hackers did not steal credit card numbers and contacted the customers whose data is part of the violation, without saying how many were affected.
The BBC stated that the hackers behind the hack are a notorious group, called Shainhemers who claimed that 7.4 million have stolen data related to email address.
