Beijing may have thrown a wrench in Nvidia’s plans to return to China’s AI market.
NVIDIA has instructed its component suppliers Stop the production related to your H20 AI chipAccording to the information.
After the production stop, Beijing allegedly warned Chinese companies against using these chips because due to potential security issues and the fears of backdoor that would provide the US access to sensitive data. The Chinese government is urging companies to use domestic chips.
It comes a month later when it was given to companies including Nvidia Green light to start selling your AI chips Designed for the Chinese market.
