San Antonio, Texas – Texas coach Steve Sarcians used their pulpits in front of thousands of high school coaches in Texas to encourage them to fight the interests associated with their players.
During a main address at the Texas High School Coach Association Convention, Sarkisian said that he wanted to go to his soopbox how many coaches – agents or handlers were closed by agents or handlers – had taken a seat in his players’ recruitments.
“The game is changing,” said Sarkisian. “Not a game on the field, a distant game from the field, zero, revenue sharing, publicity rights, whatever you want to call it.
