The Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard is going after his predecessor, pointing to a newly released email, as part of his argument that an attempt was made by the Obama administration to weaken President Trump with an investigation into Russia’s 2016 election intervention.
A brief email exchange released by Gabbard shows a discussion between the then-DNI James Clapper and the then National Security Agency (NSA) director Mike Rogers, in which the NSA director said that he needs a longer time to review the information before the upcoming report to President Obama about Hacking of Democratic National Committee (DNC) to President Obama.
InExchangeWhich occurred after Trump’s victory in December 2016, the Clapper said he understands Rogers’ concerns, but the intelligence community did not have the luxury of time and the draft on which they were working will need to be a “game of team”.
This is release as Gabbar has canceled several records about the 2016 election amid demands on the Trump administration to release files related to the deceased Financer Jeffrey Epstein.
Email suggests that Rogers reached the Clapper to resolve concerns from his team that he did not have enough time to review all intelligence.
“I know that this activity is on a fast-track and people are working very hard to keep a product together that can be provided to the President. However, I wanted to reach you directly to tell you about some concerns that I am listening to my people,” Rosors wrote.
“Looking at the early nature of this activity, my people are not fully comfortable saying that they have enough time to review all intelligence for complete confidence in their assessment.
“To be clear, I am not saying that we are quite disagreeing, but I want to ensure that, when we are asked in the future whether we can stand completely behind the paper, we have no reason to hesitate to hesitate due to the process. I know you know that it is something that we have a chance to get this right before presenting the President,”
Rogers asked about this that the NSA would be considered a co-authors on the product, saying that if that is the case, he would like to directly look at the inherent intelligence, but said that “If your intention is to make CIA-only or CIA/FBI-writer products, then I will stand on these concerns.”
Clapper said he wanted to ensure consensus between various intelligence agencies, but said that long was not an option as IC was working to give a report to Obama less than a month before the inauguration.
He said, “It is necessary that we (CIA/NSATBIODNI) are on the same page and all the reports are supporters-‘This is our story, and we are stickin for it,” he wrote, saying, saying that the first draft of the report was roaming for review.
“We will facilitate as much mutual transparency as possible as to complete the report, but, it is not more paralysis. We may have to compromise on our ‘normal’ form -as we should do so on such a compressed program. This is a project that should have a team sport.
The documents shared by Gabbard are only two in the exchange, and it is not clear how the conversation continued.
Neither Rogers nor Clapper’s spokesperson responded to requested for remarks.

“There is a notable irony about this whole relationship. Despite the claims of a nefarious political conspiracy by the Trump administration officials, we did everything that we could do to stop the leaks of intelligence reports at that time, including Russia’s preference for Mr. Trump, a necessity that President Obama regularly emphasized,” he wrote.
“We knew that such reports would be political dynamites. And despite adequate reporting on the matter, we were successful in stopping such leaks before the election.”
Gabbard’s Tech, which was enhanced by Trump in a true social post on Thursday morning, is that the email of the Clapper suggests that the standards were compromised.
Gabbard said in a statement, “The decision to compromise the standards and violate the protocol was deliberately decided and came from a lot,” Gabbard said.
“Clapper’s own words confirm that compliance with the order to manufacture intelligence was a ‘Team Sport’.”
Gabbard, which is nearStruggled to keep him standingIn Trump Circle, Trump has been praised by Trump in recent weeks to deal with the recent 2016 election.
While speaking about the election documents, last month Trump said, “He is the hottest in the room right now.”
However, the documents issued by Gabbard have not supported its claims.
A first set shared by DNI came when it accused Obama-era leaders of “traitors”.
