Passengers forced to evacuate American Airlines flight on runway due to tire issue: company

Denver (Kdvr) – Passengers were forced to evacuate an American airline flight standing on a trumac using an emergency slide in Denver on Saturday.

The departure of Denver International Airport (DIA) for Miami International Airport was stopped on the runway at around 5 pm local time. A passenger told local media That she heard “a big blast and a pop”, as the flight was navigating towards takeoff.

The DIA spokesperson confirmed Nexstar’s KDVR that the flight was an American airlines aircraft. The aircraft allegedly stayed on the runway after Dane’s first respondents and Denver Fire Department responded to “reported issues”.

At 5:10 pm, DFD posted an update XSaying that the firefighters extinguished the fire “after responding to the aircraft.”

KDVR approached the American Airlines, stating that it was a maintenance issue that included “an aircraft tire.” The airline company also said:

“American Airlines Flight 3023 experienced a maintenance issue before takeoff at Denver International Airport (DEN). All customers and crews safely abolished, and the aircraft was taken out of service to inspect our maintenance team. We thank our team members for their professionalism and ask our customers to forgiveness.”

According to American Airlines, 173 passengers and six crew members were on the board. Passengers later expected to “re -depart the MIA on a replacement aircraft on Saturday” on Saturday.
