West Fork, Arc. ,Knwa/Kfta) – Arkansas State Police is investigating a dual murder after being found dead on a footpath in a state park on Saturday.
Officials said the police were called to the Devils Dane State Park, about 25 miles south of Fayetville, a 43 -year -old man and a 41 -year -old woman were found dead on a walking journey inside the park shortly before 3 pm. News release,
Officials said they are wearing a suspect described as a white man, wearing dark shorts, a dark tank top and weightlifting-style gloves. He was reportedly seen to have a black four-door sedan, possibly running a man, in which a license plate was unclear by electric or duct tape.
The suspect was last seen moving towards exiting the park and could travel with State Highway 170 or State Highway 220.
The bodies of the victims were being sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine the official cause and method of death.

Governor Sarah Hukabi Sanders said in a statement, “We are heartbroken by today’s horrific news from Devils Dane State Park and are in close contact with the state police and parks, heritage and tourism department, as they work to catch the suspect.” “We are praying for the family and friends of the victims, and know that the law enforcement will not relax until the culprit is brought to justice.”
The FBI’s small rock office said that this Arkansas was in touch with the state police and “ready to help if needed.”
