California Governor Gavin Newsom said on Monday that President Trump has directed the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate him and his wife after months of intense feuding between the two on social media and in public comments. “He’s not coming after me because of mean tweets, but because I’m considering running for president,” Newsom wrote.
