New York – After 60 minutes and 30 rounds, spent together inside the ring, the trilogy between Katie Taylor and Amanda Kerano reached its conclusion and Taylor won the decision of a majority in more calculations and temporary relations than his previous matches to maintain his undisputed superlievant championship.
In front of an energetic sold crowd at the Madison Square Garden, a historic all-women’s fight card closed and streamped live on Netflix. However, unlike his other two thrilling shodowns, who were won narrowly by Taylor, it was very high using a check hook with Irishwoman and to take more definite decisions with two scores of 97–93 and a judge also saw it at 95–95.
Taylor and Serano had an encounter in the last two meetings that Taylor won in disputed fashion, but overall increased the profile of women’s boxing. Her third meeting put a spotlight on women’s boxing with 17 world titles in the fight card, but did not fulfill the exceptionally high bar set by the first two quarrels.
Taylor and Serano’s first encounter took place on April 30, 2022 at the Madison Square Garden and had a global audience of 1.5 million spectators on Netflix. As a co-intended program for Jake Paul’s decision on Mike Tyson, her rematch became the most viewed women’s sports program in American history last November, which was averaged globally on Netflix to an average of 74 million live audiences globally.
The pair had the platform themselves in New York and brought with them with the present and future of women’s boxing. But it was the pride of Ireland who put a seal on rivalry with a 3–0 sweep.
Unlike their last two encounters, the pair scored the first two rounds, before Serano began to increase the pressure in round 3. Taylor was composed and raised his spots, while Serano flashed Jab and landed the timely combination.
Fighting out of Ireland, Taylor (25–1, 6 kos) opened more in five rounds and grabbed Serano with right hand and prevented the “real deal” from cornering him from removing it after every panch. Taylor began to give time to Kerano’s advances in six rounds and whenever she demanded to move forward, she bounced several combinations with her opponent’s skull. However, continuously, Serano refused to let his hands go.
By the latter, Taylor was comfortable with speed and tightened Serano (47–4–1, 31 kos) and used a check hook to prevent Pureto Rikon from charging with flouries.
Fighting Carolina, Puerto Rico, Serano simply did not look like herself and came to life with well in life in the last round.
With victory, women’s most important rivalry in boxing has come close and the future is unspecified for both fighters. Even though the last chapter did not reach the heights of their last two matches, Taylor and Serano undoubtedly placed women’s boxing on a chair which was not earlier.
In the co-intended program, Alicia Bomguardner (16–1, 7 kos 1 no contest) maintained its undisputed super feather championship with a unanimous decision on the pre-undefined Jennifer Miranda (12–1). “The bomb” maintained with a score of 98–92, 98–92 and 97-93.
It was a cat-and-raw case to use his jab with Bomguardner and was trying to install a trap to take off his right hand. But Miranda was intelligent for the game plan and launched several counter right hands to take the advances of the champion.
However, Miranda was not busy enough and allowed Bomguardner to start and end a lot of exchanges.
Bomguardner ended a long trimmed with a win and said in her post-fight interview that she was rusted and wants to go back as soon as possible. He will keep him busy as the future of the most valuable promotion possibilities to anoint him with Jake Paul.
