Tottenham Hotspur have parted ways with head coach Igor Tudor by mutual consent after just 43 days in the role, the club confirmed on Sunday.
Tudor was appointed only last month and has won only one of his seven matches as Spurs edged closer to the relegation zone.
The 47-year-old replaced Thomas Frank on a short-term basis and was initially touted as a possible permanent candidate, but his only win was against Atlético Madrid – which was not enough to avoid a Champions League round-16 exit, 7-5 on aggregate. He is currently ranked 17th Premier LeagueOne point above the bottom three.

Sources told ESPN that Tudor was given time to process that grieving process before both parties decided it was the best step for Tudor to move forward.
“We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed upon for head coach Igor Tudor to leave the club with immediate effect,” the club said in a statement.
“Tomislav Rožić and Riccardo Ragnacci have also left their respective roles as goalkeeping coach and physical coach.
“We thank Igor, Tomislav and Ricardo for their efforts during the last six weeks, in which they worked tirelessly. We also acknowledge the bereavement that Igor has recently suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time.”

Sources have told ESPN that coach Bruno Saltore will lead training for the next few days, with the majority of the first-team squad on international duty.
Spurs are expected to appoint a new head coach in the coming days for a training block ahead of their next game, a trip to the Premier League. Sunderland On 12th April.
