US sailors and Marines aboard the USS Tripoli arrived in the US Central Command (CENTCOM) area in the Middle East on Friday. CentCom said Saturday that the flagship also transported about 3,500 sailors and Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group “along with transport and strike combat aircraft…”
