We’ve got the same top 10 and the same undefeated Lady Vols as last week! There was only one newcomer to the poll: No. 22 UCF. Tennessee had a great weekend, picking up three big wins against LSU to open SEC play. This upcoming week will definitely see things change a bit more, however, with a number of matchups between ranked teams.

Leach had a big weekend in Tennessee’s tough series against LSU, going 6-for-10 with six RBI and three home runs, including a particularly important one that we’ll look at below.

Tennessee went 3-0 in its highly anticipated series against LSU last week. And the final game in the trilogy was the best of them all. The tight game was ended by a three-run walk-off homer by Leach that preserved the Lady Vols’ undefeated season.
