The secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council vowed on Saturday that Tehran would respond to attacks from US military bases in the Persian Gulf amid US military operations. Secretary Ali Larijani wrote, “When the enemy attacks us from regional targets, we respond and will respond; it is our right and a consistent policy.”
