
The Department of Education on Thursday announced an inquiry into a civil rights against George Mason University on allegations of discrimination about its diversity, equity and DEI policies.
The federal agency said that several professors at the university have been underestimated by the alleged leadership faculty and reduced minority groups for promotion.
“Despite the leadership of George Mason University, claiming that it does not discriminate on the basis of the race, it appears that its hiring and promotion policies and practices have been applied under the guise of so -called ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion from 2020 to current, not only allows champion illegal grains in violations of 1964. The hill has reached the university for comment.
Other practices informed to the Department of Education by George Mason include the creation of a task force on equity advisors and anti -racism and inclusive excellence in academic departments.
This is the second title VI inquiry opened against George Mason, in which the first announcement was made last week, which will look at the allegations that failed to save the university Jewish students from a hostile environment.
George Mason has joined dozens of other universities that are for alleged DEI practices and antisement in the campus under the radar of the Trump administration.
