DOJ drops defense of Trump orders targeting law firms


The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Monday dropped its defense of President Trump’s executive orders targeting several of the nation’s top law firms, court filings show. The Trump administration rejected appeals of four decisions by federal judges who had rejected the orders from law firms Perkins Coie, WilmerHale, Jenner & Block and Sussman Godfrey.
