Former US Open Tennis Champion Sloane Stephens And former US men’s national soccer player Jozy Altidore is ending his marriage after four years.
Stephens, who won the 2017 US Open, posted a story on instagram The split was announced on Saturday.
The post read, “Joji and I have decided to end our marriage.” “With peace, I am navigating this transition with mutual respect and please request privacy during this time. Thank you for your love, understanding, and continued support.”
Stephens, 32, was also the runner-up at the 2018 French Open. Altidore, 36, scored 42 goals in 115 games for the U.S. men’s soccer team from 2007 to 2019 and had a lengthy professional career in Major League Soccer and overseas.
