Hey, give ‘Tommy Boy’ some credit!!!
published
It’s been over 30 years since “Tommy Boy” hit theaters across the country – and Rob Lowe is just now letting it be known publicly that he wants some credit!
The actor played Paul in the 1995 comedy starring Chris Farley, David Spade, Bo Derek and Brian Dennehy – but Rob says that needs to change – immediately! – In an open letter to David Ellison, CEO of Paramount Skydance.
Waiting for your permission to load Twitter tweet.
Rob posted the letter on his ex’s account Thursday night… and, we have to admit, it all feels like a joke. Kicking things off, Rob says one of the “long-standing, important and unresolved issues” in “Tommy Boy” is his lack of credit.
He then talks about how it is an “atrocity” committed by the previous regime at Paramount and a stain on the company’s legacy. Rob goes on to say… He and others urge Alison to “be on the right side of history and make amends for this heinous act”, Above the headline: “And Rob Lowe as Paul”.
Like we said… this all sounds pretty corny… but Rob may have harbored some bad feelings about it over the years and now he’s addressing it with a comedic splash.
We’ll have to see where this goes…anywhere.
