Two Student pilot He died on Tuesday morning when his single-engine aircraft crashed in the middle of the styneback at Canadian province of Manitoba.
Adam Penner, president of Heart’s Air Pilot Training School, said that both were practicing takeoff and landing in small Sansna aircraft. He said that he was seen trying to get down at the same time and hit a few hundred yards away from the small runway.
Penner said that the aircraft are equipped with radio, but it appears that the two pilots did not see each other.
The police is releasing some details, but said that the pilots were declared dead on the spot and there were no passengers there. The Royal Canadian mounted police could not confirm the identity of the victims during the afternoon news conference.
“I don’t have that information,” said Manitoba RCMP CPL. Melani Russal. “Right now really limited information.”
Penner stated that the Flight School, which his parents, started in the early 1970s, have Canadian students and world training students for professional and recreational purposes in the early 1970s. The school sees about 400 students in a year.
The Transport Safety Board of Canada has been informed.
The steinback is about 42 miles south of the provincial capital Vinypeg.
