Democrats were projected to win Tuesday’s Connecticut State House special election, according to Decision Desk headquarters. Democratic nominee Larry Pemberton defeated Republican Brandon Sabbagh for Connecticut State House District 139. According to The Bulletin, Pemberton, who serves as treasurer of the Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation, defeated Sabbagh, who serves with the Ledyard Republican Party.
