President Trump said Friday he has canceled an “expected second wave of attacks” on Venezuela, less than a week after the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro as a result of US strikes in Caracas. “Venezuela is releasing a large number of political prisoners as a sign of ‘pursuit of peace,'” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
