The government of Denmark has reacted to President Trump’s nomination of Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry (R) as the new special envoy to Greenland. This is not happy. Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke said, “President Trump’s announcement regarding the appointment of a special envoy to Greenland – and especially his statements regarding its purpose – are completely unacceptable.”
