The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved an oral version of Novo Nordisk’s Wegovi weight loss pill, the first pill of its kind to be approved for use. The GLP-1 pill is for once-daily use “to reduce excess body weight and maintain long-term weight loss and prevent weight loss,” Novo Nordisk said in a release Tuesday.
