UConn hires Toledo’s Jason Candle to replace Jim Mora

Sources told ESPN’s Pete Thamel that Kendall, 46, has been a top target of UConn’s pursuit from the beginning.

Mora is coming off of nine consecutive winning seasons at UConn, including one without one since 2007. Mora led UConn to three bowl seasons in his four years there; The school had played in only one bowl game in the previous 11 seasons.
