Draymond Green breaks down viral Victor Wembanyama alley-oop

After being on the wrong end of an alley-oop dunk Victor Wembanyama last Friday, draymond green Shared his perspective on Monday.

“He’s like, ‘What? I’m too short? Okay.’ I said, ‘You’re afraid of me,'” he said. “He’s like, ‘What? I am not afraid. Okay look at this.'”

The conversation took place as the two walked from one block to the other before starting to struggle for position. According to Green, the rest of the game took place in “slow motion”, with only the young center able to complete a pass.

“When I saw the lob go up I thought I might get it, but I had no chance of getting it. Thought all-key [Butler] Lob can be found from the back. He had no chance to get it,” he said. “The only guy who had a chance to get the lob was the guy who caught the lob, Wemby.”

Vembanyama put up 26 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks, while Green had 6 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
