After being on the wrong end of an alley-oop dunk Victor Wembanyama last Friday, draymond green Shared his perspective on Monday.

Wembanyama then turned to his left and received an inbound pass from the guard stephen castleCaught the ball with his left hand and hit a dunk over Green through contact. But the basket did not count because a foul was called before the dunk.

He explained that he had earlier blocked the Vembanyama drama and started talking nonsense. He gave the Spurs center a “mad look” and said “Yeah, mother—er,” prompting Wembanyama to respond, “A what? You’re too young.” Green responded by saying that the 7-foot-4 center was too small for him.
“He’s like, ‘What? I’m too short? Okay.’ I said, ‘You’re afraid of me,'” he said. “He’s like, ‘What? I am not afraid. Okay look at this.'”
The conversation took place as the two walked from one block to the other before starting to struggle for position. According to Green, the rest of the game took place in “slow motion”, with only the young center able to complete a pass.
“When I saw the lob go up I thought I might get it, but I had no chance of getting it. Thought all-key [Butler] Lob can be found from the back. He had no chance to get it,” he said. “The only guy who had a chance to get the lob was the guy who caught the lob, Wemby.”
