Washington commanders have no plans to return to their old name … This after the President Donald Trump Shared his point on this matter – saying that he would never have gone with Rebrand!
Potus interacted with the media with a helipad in Morristown, New Jersey over the weekend … when asked if he wanted to organize the football team of the country’s capital for 87 years in the “Redskins” monkey.

Trump revealed his response, stating that he was about to make a “controversial statement” … and then went to give his honest answer.
“I will,” said number 47. “I wouldn’t have changed the name, but it is there … it’s not just one. It’s not the same ring for me, but you know that winning can be good everything can be good.”
“So, if they suddenly win, the commanders like it, but I would not have changed the name.”
Our sources close to the team say that despite Potus’ recent comments, the organization’s position remains unchanged … and going back to the old surname is not just on the table.
