
Representative Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) criticizes security at Charleston International Airport (CHS) following a police report filed Last Thursday he alleged that he attacked the officers with abusive words.

Once officers reached that entrance, Mays “immediately began loudly cursing at us and the department and making derogatory comments,” the report said. Mace reportedly said that the officers were “incompetent” and that “this is no way to behave with a U.S. representative.”
Mays proceeded to board her flight to O’Hare International Airport at approximately 7:10 am EDT, and departed at approximately 7:30 am EDT.

In a separate conversation, an officer said that security had “prepared everything to wait for someone when he arrived” and that they were “not sure what happened.”
