Davis, 32, hurt lower leg in the first quarter of Wednesday’s game against Indiana Pacers,
“Eddie is day-to-day,” Kidd said without getting into specifics before practice at Arena Ciudad de Mexico.

“It’s going to be day-by-day,” Davis said. “But it definitely makes me feel better.”

The Mavericks will face the Pistons at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico.
Kidd said, “It’s incredible for the Mavs organization to come so many times. It shows how important Mexico is and it’s great to bring joy to the fans.”
Kidd played in one of those regular season games in 2016, when the Mavericks defeated the Suns in Mexico City.
“It’s exciting to be back, Mexican fans really care about basketball and so it’s important to be here,” Kidd said. “I don’t remember much about the game, just the lack of oxygen, you get tired very quickly here.”
Mexico City is 7,349 feet above sea level, more than 2,000 feet higher than Denver, the NBA’s highest-elevation city.
