The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) attacked The Washington Post over a report about footage of immigration operations, which the outlet said was misleading.

“What a dishonest, slanted and fundamentally inaccurate article from the @WashingtonPost,” DHS wrote In a post on social platform XWednesday, a screenshot of a report in the post is shown.
“Brutal assaults and attacks by Antifa terrorists against our officers have escalated for months, and The Washington Post has completely ignored them,” the department said.
Clips of the operation, such as those used in the DHS video, have been used in at least six pro-Trump immigration agenda videos by administration officials within the past three months, as per post,
Post journalist Dan Lamothe hit back at DHS in a post on Wednesday, saying that DHS post “It includes only the Washington Post headline.”
“Here’s the real story, detailed reporting with receipts,” LaMothe said, providing a link to the report.
Since President Trump returned to office in January, the administration has taken a heavy-handed crackdown on immigration, increasing raids across the country.
Last week, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Todd Lyons said that New York City will experience High rate of immigration arrests in wake of protesters clashing with agents during an operation.
“You will see an increase in ICE arrests because a lot of criminals and illegal aliens have been released, especially in New York,” Lyons said on Fox News.
