Mark Hamill jokes about Trump building Death Star where East Wing used to be

“Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill on Monday joked about President Trump building the franchise’s Death Star where the East Wing of the White House used to be.

“I feel really bad about it…” Hamill, best known for playing Luke Skywalker in the “Star Wars” franchise, said in a post on Monday social platform Blue sky.

The Post’s editorial board wrote, “The White House cannot simply become a museum of the past. Like America, it must evolve with the times to maintain its greatness. Strong leaders reject calcification. In this way, Trump’s undertaking is a jab at NIMBYs everywhere.”

Hill has contacted the White House for comment.
