Henderson, Nev. – With the NFL’s November 4 trade deadline approaching, las vegas raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers Remains firm in his request to be traded from the team.
“Oh, definitely,” Meyers said Tuesday. “But at the end of the day I’m a professional. I’m just trying to play good football. If I’m here, I’m going to play good football. If I’m not here, I’m going to go out there and play wherever I’m supposed to be.”

Meyers said he has not given much thought to a new deal with the Raiders since the season began.
“That window closed with the offseason,” Meyers said. “If it happens, I don’t care. I really just want to be in a good place for myself [and] My family.”
Meyers said he has not spoken to the team recently about his trade request. He said despite being the subject of trade rumors his focus is on staying in the moment as Las Vegas sits in last place in the AFC West at 2-5.

“If you push me, you push me. But in the meantime, I have some real people I care about, so I’m trying to make sure I can be my best for them.”
During this time of year, Meyers said the team tries to make light of the uncertainty.
He mentioned how players would joke whenever they saw his name in a trade discussion: “Like, what’s your flight time? It’s all fun and games,” he said.
“Everyone is a comedian about this thing, and I’m happy with that,” Meyers said. “As long as people are willing to talk about it, I like to hear jokes. If they’ve got a point, I’ll be frank with them.”

“It wasn’t nice to sit on the bench and watch guys lose like that,” Meyers said of Sunday’s outing. “I definitely want to go out there, do my thing [and] “Hopefully that will bring some spark to the offense.”
In 97 career games (76 starts), Meyers has recorded 422 catches for 4,921 yards and 20 touchdowns. He gained a career-best 1,027 receiving yards in 2024 and has recorded at least 800 receiving yards in four consecutive seasons. In six games in 2025, Meyers has 29 catches for 329 yards.
Despite the Raiders’ struggles, particularly on offense (three games in which fewer than 10 points were scored), Meyers said the team remained close.
“Everyone is still very concerned about winning. We’re out here fighting,” Meyers said. “It’s a new arrangement. We’re trying.”
