Raiders’ Jakobi Meyers says he ‘for sure’ still wants to be traded

“Oh, definitely,” Meyers said Tuesday. “But at the end of the day I’m a professional. I’m just trying to play good football. If I’m here, I’m going to play good football. If I’m not here, I’m going to go out there and play wherever I’m supposed to be.”

“Everyone is a comedian about this thing, and I’m happy with that,” Meyers said. “As long as people are willing to talk about it, I like to hear jokes. If they’ve got a point, I’ll be frank with them.”

Despite the Raiders’ struggles, particularly on offense (three games in which fewer than 10 points were scored), Meyers said the team remained close.

“Everyone is still very concerned about winning. We’re out here fighting,” Meyers said. “It’s a new arrangement. We’re trying.”
