Former NY governor likens Mamdani's appeal to Trump's

The former New York Government David Patterson (D) compared the success of Zoharan Mamdani on Sunday as the city’s Democratic Mayorl candidate as President Trump’s political rise a decade ago.

It is less than half a cost that has already been sent to the city to spend on subsidy program for corporate supermarkets, in which there is no guarantee of cheap prices or collective bargaining agreements or even acceptance.

Patterson said that proposals are receiving early traction in the race and noticed that Mamdani would be “a difficult candidate to defeat” in November.
