The Congress is moving towards a government shutdown with excavations in two days before the time limit of 1 October on 1 October.
Republicans are emphasizing a “clean” continuous resolution that will give the government a fund by 21 November.

Last time funding occurred under Trump, it stopped for the longest time in the history of the United States. Three shutdowns were seen in the first term of the President, although the other two were relatively abbreviated.
Former President George W. Bush made it through eight years without any shutdown. Former President Obama had one. Former President Reagan oversee eight shutdowns, though no one lasted for more than three days, while former President Carter had five for one or two weeks.
