“I thought the atmosphere was outstanding,” Quarterback Aron roders Said. “I come out quickly. Most NFL stadiums have two hours when the stadium opens, and it starts trickling. Someone returns to the locker room like 11:00, man, man, man, there is already a ton. I was so. I was, yes, we are not in the states now.
“… very terrible towels there, but I felt that maybe some good old Irish mixture, waving those towels a little bit. The music was very good. The fans were calm. The ground was ancient.”
The entire game-day experience was the incarnation of the Pittsburgh traditions and the Irish heritage of the Roney family. During the warm -up, an Irish group, The Cleda House Band, performed the live set between the top -40 hits of the Irish artists and a DJ mix between the songs. The game also had demonstrations from both the US and the Irish national anthem.
“This has always been their dream,” tight end Connor Haward Said about Roney. “Even on the way to the stadium here, you may get cold. I got cold to see all the steeler fans and then this opportunity and then with the national anthem, such as listening to American national anthem and then listening to the national anthem of Ireland. Two protests, one more lit, but it was really good.”
As they do at the across the Accure Stadium, the steeler also played “Pittsburg Polka” before the kickoff. Later, the stadium launched an Irish rock band formed in Limarick, with a crowd -led Singalong for “zombie” by Cranberry in the fourth quarter.
