White, an entrepreneur for 30 years and a one -time candidate for the Governor of Texas in 2018, wants to portray himself as a liberal and independent candidate, who removes himself from the culture wars and biased extremities.

“I can’t pass all purity tests – but I will change the way you work in Austin. I am not a culture warrior – I am a problem. Whether it is a flood, school shooting, or grid, we need those leaders who prepare us before the disaster strike, not only later.” White said.

“After 30 years in the office, Governor Abbott is the architect of these culture wars and is responsible for the situation of our schools, hospitals and infrastructure. They should be a game of pickle, not politics. I am asking this march for your vote. I will keep us safe and focus on things that matters.” White said.

This is White’s second attempt to win a Democratic nomination for the governor. In 2018, he lost a democratic primary runoff election for Dallas County Sheriff Lupay Waldez. She lost to Abbott in the general election.

He has also received a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas.
