Two children of a camp in Texas are telling their unimaginable story of how they were affected by intense floods in the area … and, one of them says they had to swim out of danger to really survive.
Local ABC affiliated Kesat Talked at San Antonio Pillars And Rafin Bot – One of the camps from two children who were in Camp La Junta Disastrous floodThey say that the water started filling their cabins, and the children had to climb to the rafters to stay dry.
While Rafin says that he and his cabin were finally able to get out only after being secured, Pierce – who appear younger than Rafin – says he and his cabin participated in a very challenging escape.
Listen to yourself … Pierce says, “We have a bed bed in our cabin, and [the water] The top was going into the bunk. We had an option, and we had to swim out of our cabins. ,
Pierce and Rafin revealed that they had to run into a cabin on high ground, where the flood waters could not reach them … and, they waited there for hours until buses could remove them.
As you know … Floods in Texas have killed at least 32 – and more than 20 girls of Camp Mistic near Hunt, TX are still unaware.
