President Trump on Saturday threatened the Taliban government of Afghanistan, saying that “bad things are going to happen” if it does not give Bagram back to the United States.
Trump wrote on Satya Social, “If Afghanistan does not give back to Bagaram airbase, which is made, the United States, bad things are going to happen !!!,” Trump wrote on the truth social, signing his name till the end of the post.
Trump said a few days ago that the United States wanted to control back to the Bagram Air Base.
During a joint press conference in Great Britain with the Prime Minister of that country, Trump said the US “was trying to bring it back” because the Taliban needed things from the United States.
He also said that the proximity of Aadhaar with China was one of the reasons why his administration wanted it back.
The President said during the presser, “But one of the reasons we want is Aadhaar, as you know, it is an hour away from where China makes its nuclear weapons. So a lot of things are happening,” the President said during the presser.
Bagram was once the largest American base in Afghanistan during the US war in that country, the longest struggle in the history of the country. It was released in 2021 when the Biden administration withdrew American forces from Afghanistan.
Trump has regularly criticized the Biden administration’s handling of Afghanistan.
Speaking of the Aadhaar of this week, Trump complained that it was given back to Afghanistan for nothing.
